Shawna Ackerman, MAAA, FCAS, is the Chief Risk and Actuarial Officer for the California Earthquake Authority (CEA), which provides residential earthquake insurance to California residents and administers the California Wildfire Fund. Prior to joining the CEA, Shawna consulted for Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc. She began her insurance career at the California Department of Insurance.
Shawna has served on the boards of the American Academy of Actuaries, the Casualty Actuarial Society, and the AAA Extreme Events Committee. When Shawna was a chairperson for the Actuarial Standards Board, she was a part of the Catastrophe Modeling Task Force that drafted the actuarial standards of practice for using catastrophe models in actuarial work.
Today a Senior Manager at Allstate Insurance Company, John Barrett has more than a decade of experience working in property claims within several Allstate departments – Catastrophe, Workflow, Design, and Vendor Management teams, and others. He currently leads a team that manages vendor management teams, vendor programs, and the quality of vendor invoices.
Senior Data Consultant for Data Content Management at CoreLogic – comes with extensive knowledge and expertise from both the construction and insurance industries. Before entering the insurance industry, Glenn spent years developing residential construction and then was the foreman for a company that built communication structures that housed highly classified communications technology for the United States Air Force. These experiences primed him with relevant knowledge and skills for a career in the property insurance industry. Glenn has been an insurance producer, national claims adjuster, and CAT claims manager. He consistently provides unique insights to CoreLogic that help produce accurate and concise construction data for the company’s claims and reconstruction costs products.
As the Vice President of Strategic Accounts for CoreLogic, Aaron Beck optimizes profitable revenue growth, engages with clients, develops pipeline, and manages the forecast for both CoreLogic and legacy Next Gear Solutions products. He leads a team of relationship managers who support key contractor partnerships.
Before joining CoreLogic, Aaron was the Executive Director for American Technologies, a large general contractor. As Client Services Manager for Contractor Solutions at CoreLogic, Lauren Becker oversees the client implementation process. She leads a team of Coaches who train franchise and independent contractors to best utilize CoreLogic’s suite of products. She has been with Next Gear Solutions (and then CoreLogic) since 2019. Lauren has been working in the restoration industry since 2008 and holds a number of IICRC certifications. Her professional background also includes office administration and management.
Pascal Begin is the Vice President of Product for CoreLogic. As he oversees the direction of the company’s claims and estimating platform, he stimulates innovation in the development and enhancement of CoreLogic’s industry-leading product suite for product and casualty insurers. Prior to joining the team, in 2002, he and two friends co-founded the InsurTech company Symbility, which was acquired by CoreLogic in 2019. A true entrepreneur, Pascal also co-founded an electronic restoration company, and more than two decades ago, he played a pivotal role in establishing his first software firm, Cyclone Software. He attributes his passion for technology to Cyclone Software, his first (but probably not his last) venture.

Maiclaire Bolton-Smith – the Vice President of Hazard & Risk Management at CoreLogic – leads product management, research, market strategy, sales enablement, thought leadership, and catastrophe event response for the company’s Protect business segment. Before taking on this role, Maiclaire was the Senior Leader of Research and Content at CoreLogic. When she first joined CoreLogic in 2013, she was the Senior Product Manager for Global Earthquake Products.

As Senior Manager of Property Claims Design for Allstate Insurance Company, Daniel Boudreau leads the team who is responsible for catastrophe, wind, hail, fire process design, and digital adoption. In the 34 years Daniel has worked with Allstate, he has spent a decade in roles in which he’s overseen the process design and technology design experience. Throughout his career at Allstate, he has accumulated experience in all aspects of property claim handling, including adjusting, management, process design, vendor management, and quality control for all perils and complexities.
Lee Boyd is the Vice President of Third-Party Administrators (TPA) at Alacrity Solutions. Lee oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of TPA and desk operations. Prior to Lee’s tenure at Alacrity, he was the Vice President of Product Innovation for Fourseventy Claims Management. During his time at Fourseventy, Lee created innovative processes to transform the traditional methods of insurance claims handling. Paul has worked in underwriting, client management, product specialist roles for multiple insurance and technology companies, including Lloyd’s of London, Swiss Re, Gen Re, RMS, TigerRisk, and Coforge. With a strong background in catastrophe underwriting, Paul is passionate about the application of technology and data to underwriting and risk management in order to produce valuable insights for underwriters and risk managers.
Jonathan Buckner is a Senior Data Analyst on CoreLogic’s Strategic Accounts team. In his role, he takes a consultative approach to data analysis – deeply understanding client needs, identifying trends in data performance and usage, and proactively reporting on findings in a concise visual format. Jonathan is a versatile professional, coming to CoreLogic from the mortgage industry. Before working as a mortgage loan officer, he was a Program Manager at Alacrity Services. Jonathan began his career at Lowe’s, where he worked for more than ten years in a number of roles.
Michael Carrigan is the Chief Revenue Officer for Global Claims Services, where he started in 2019 as Senior Vice President. Previously, Michael worked at ITEL Laboratories for more than 12 years, most recently as the Senior Vice President of Sales – a role that involved leading the execution of sales and marketing strategies and managing ITEL’s strategic industry partnerships. At ITEL, he also played a key role in developing the company’s mobile app and the expansion of its capabilities from the initial alpha stage to adoption by more than 20,000 users in the property and claims industry.
Bryan Carter has worked for Woodard Cleaning and Restoration for ten years, where he is currently the Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he served as Woodard’s Director of Business Processes and then the Vice President of Claims Management. His career includes 21 years of construction and restoration experience. Through it all, he has been driven to create environments that free his teams to be their best by removing the frustrations out of work processes.
Dan Cassara is the founder and CEO for CORE Group, a provider of property restoration contractor services. Dan is an industry veteran who has held multiple leadership positions throughout the property damage and property insurance industries. Prior to founding CORE, Cassara was President and CEO of DKI, a North American franchisor of property damage restoration firms. Beforehand, he was the CEO of Oriel, a leading industry third-party administrator of claims. An entrepreneur at heart, he was also founder of two other successful managed repair systems.
Outside of the property damage restoration space, Cassara is also a co-founder of Hudson Daniel Group, a media, marketing, and sales organization designed to help artisan food and beverage companies scale their businesses and deliver products to the consumer stage. Through its award-winning media arm, HD Media, Cassara leads a team of individuals who develop and distribute a wide range of media and content from a food and travel docuseries to home and garden inspired television and web programming.
Elizabeth Cleary is the Managing Director and Lead Catastrophe Advisor for Guy Carpenter and Co., LLC., where she specializes in modeling and managing catastrophic risk. She is a member of Guy Carpenter’s Americas Analytics leadership team and serves as a Catastrophe Advisor. Elizabeth is also the analytics account manager for a number of global insurance firms as well as FEMA, and in this capacity, she collaborates with team members on the implementation and adoption of catastrophe management strategies. Liz has participated on various steering committees for Guy Carpenter’s catastrophe modeling platform, for which her duties have included oversight of best practices, internal tool development, model investigation, report template creation, colleague development, and hardware and software deployment.
As a consultant for CoreLogic’s Digital Hub Alliance team, Chris Cochran co-creates integrated digital ecosystems for contractors. He has been in the restoration software business for more than five years. Chris arrived at CoreLogic by way of the company’s acquisition of NextGear, where he was an Account Executive for independent clients.
Lane Coonrod is the Assistant Vice President of the Hartford’s Personal Lines Underwriting division. In this role, Lane is responsible for establishing personal lines policies and guidelines. He also oversees the Automated Underwriting and 3PD teams. Lane has been with The Hartford since 2013, when he started in one of multiple data science leadership roles he held with the company before taking on his current position in 2020. Lane began his career at AllState Insurance, where he rose through the ranks of actuarial roles.
As the Talent Acquisition and Development Executive for CoreLogic, Bethany Cooper leads the Global Talent Management teams. Despite market challenges, her teams filled a record 1,800 roles in 2021 and are on track to fill 1,200 in 2022. Bethany came to CoreLogic in 2013 by way of the University of Mississippi, where she was the Director of Corporate Relations & MBA/MHA Operations. Previously, she held recruiting leadership roles at the University of New Hampshire. Bryan Corder is the founder of Straight Story Consulting – an innovative, technology-driven automotive and property claims consulting firm. Bryan has worked within the auto and property insurance industries for more than 40 years. He started Straight Story Consulting in 2019 to realize his vision of “challenging current auto and property claim paradigms, inspiring innovation, assisting in process design and technology development that leads to employee adoption, customer elation, and profitability.”
Before establishing his own company, he worked at Allstate Insurance Company for 31 years in a variety of roles – most recently as the Director of Property Claims. In this position, he oversaw all property insurance claims processes in the United States and Canada. Previously, he held multiple claims leadership roles for Allstate in different locations across the United States.
In his role as Vice President of Insurance Sales for CoreLogic, Andrew Couture manages a team of product specialists who provide the data and technology that leads to incredible business impact for clients. Andrew was one of the founders of Location, Inc. – a provider of location data and solutions for risk analysis – that was acquired by CoreLogic in January of 2020. At Location, Inc., he managed all aspects of sales and business development.

Will Curry is the Managing Partner of Cross Country Adjusting, a nationwide independent adjusting firm. In this role, Will leads the day-to-day operations of the business, including oversight of the executive leadership team. He also works closely with Cross Country clients to develop and execute a strategy that focuses both on improving the experience of the insured during the claims workflow, and that meets carrier expectations in the process. Will started his insurance career 20 years ago with Zurich, and then joined Cross Country in 2006.
Mark W. Davis is the Co-CEO of Signal Restoration Services and the Chairman and CEO of PuroClean. Since acquiring Signal in 2012 and PuroClean in 2015, Mark has grown both Signal and PuroClean exponentially. Within the first two years of leading Signal, Mark grew its revenue and profit by a multiple of more than 20 times. Then in 2015, Davis and co-CEO Frank Torre purchased PuroSystems, Inc., and the PuroClean Global franchise brand. Since then, PuroClean has doubled in size to 300+ locations. Mark is also the co-founder and former CEO of Belfor North America. Under Mark’s leadership, Belfor grew tremendously from its US origins as Rocky Mountain Catastrophe in Denver, Colorado. Elizabeth Del Ferro is the Vice President and General Manager for Insurance at Nearmap, the leading aerial imagery and property intelligence provider. In this role, Elizabeth spearheads the insurance vertical, guiding all facets of the business to accelerate growth while ensuring customer success. She has a consistent track record of guiding profitable global expansions while executing on strategies to ensure an optimal customer experience.

He has been with Aon since 1998, and has since been responsible for and passionate about delivering best-in-industry services to every client. Previously, Dan was the Director of Underwriting at RLI Insurance Company.
Chris Donahue, Hippo’s Chief Underwriting Officer, has more than 27 years of experience with personal lines insurance. Chris is responsible for Hippo’s portfolio management, underwriting appetite, and the execution of the company’s smart, simple, and proactive home insurance products. He also oversees Hippo’s growing integrated technology platform. Previously, Chris spent four years at AIG as Global Chief Underwriting Officer for Home and Auto and as the Portfolio Manager of North American personal lines. Prior to AIG, Chris served as the Chief Underwriting Officer of Chubb’s and ACE’s North American personal lines businesses.
Jessie Epling has been a CoreLogic Client Services Coach for five years. In this position, she helps build out successful reconstruction departments by helping restoration clients maximize their use of CoreLogic software. Before joining CoreLogic, Jessie was the Office Manager and an accountant for a full-service restoration franchise, where for six years she served on the executive team alongside the General Manager and President. At this company, she learned how to use Next Gear Solutions technology, which she implemented throughout all the company’s departments. Experiencing this success at this company unlocked a passion for Jessie for helping other businesses achieve the same.
William Forde is CoreLogic’s Senior Director of Market Insights. His team engages with the insurance and reinsurance markets including carriers, regulators, and industry bodies to inform product and go-to-market strategy. Based out of London, he is also responsible for global strategic partnerships and distribution channels for CoreLogic risk management products and services. He joined CoreLogic in 2018, and has worked in the insurance industry – mostly within catastrophe risk management – for more than ten years. William represents CoreLogic on the Insurance Development Forum, EIOPA’s Nat Cat Expert Working Group, and the Catastrophe Resilience Council. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and is co-chair of the Society’s Disaster Risk Management Professional Practice Group.
George Gallagher is the Principal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CoreLogic’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Climate Risk, and Natural Hazard & Spatial solutions. His focus is on these offerings and how they pertain to capital markets, commercial and residential lending and loan servicing, and to the federal government. George joined CoreLogic in February 2012, bringing extensive experience working with commercial and corporate real estate data and technology platforms. Also before joining the company, he held leadership roles at organizations in the fields of commercial development and asset management.
Dedicated to the awareness, understanding, and adoption of climate-related data in the commercial marketplace, George serves as the Education Chair for the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) ESG Community of Practice.
Scott Giberson serves as Flood Compliance Principal at CoreLogic, where he manages the Flood Disaster Protection Act program for CoreLogic Flood Services. With more than 20 years of experience in the property insurance industry, Scott specializes in regulatory issues surrounding flood determinations, the mandatory purchase of flood insurance, and policy related to the National Flood Insurance Program.
In his role, Scott frequently presents at a number of conferences, seminars, and workshops on topics related to flood insurance requirements and flood mapping issues. He speaks on matters related to claims or actions arising out of the flood determination guarantees. Scott has also made significant contributions to the research around this body of law.
Scott also currently serves on the Board of the National Flood Association, leading the Association’s legislative committee. Scott is also a Council Member on the Technical Mapping Advisory Council, which reports to FEMA and was established by Congress in 2012.
Raj Goswami is the Chief Innovation Leader for CoreLogic Protect. He was the founder and CEO of MICA Software – industry standard technology in the water restoration field. Raj has more than twenty years of experience working as a consultant for Fortune 500 companies. Both an executive and an entrepreneur, Raj has successfully worked with insurance and restoration industry partners to create automation through technology for faster and more efficient claims processing. He looks forward to developing the next generation of solutions for the Insurance property and claims industry along with the talented team members he leads.
Garret Gray is the President of CoreLogic’s Global Insurance Solutions Business. He leads a team of industry experts focused on building market-driven solutions that drive better customer outcomes throughout the property insurance ecosystem.
Prior to this, Gray was the founder and CEO of Next Gear Solutions, acquired by CoreLogic in September 2021. Next Gear is an industry-leading provider of claims workflow technology used by eight of the top ten US carriers. Next Gear restoration management solutions are used by four out of the top five contractor brands in addition to more than 8,000 contractors in North America.
As Senior Consultant for the Digital Hub Alliance at CoreLogic, Ed Hammant builds and improves claims workflows for insurance clients. He works with prospective and current Digital Hub Alliance (DHA) members to determine how they can help CoreLogic clients improve their overall claims processing experiences. His daily mission is to ensure that CoreLogic’s DHA offers the most efficient, streamlined end-to-end claims platform possible for all users.
Ed has been with CoreLogic for two years, but has been in the property claims industry since 1988, when he started a nearly 30-year tenure with the insurance company, The Hartford. While at The Hartford, Ed worked in a number of adjusting and vendor management roles.
John Harrison, currently a Client Success Trainer for CoreLogic, started his career in a managerial position at a landscaping company. It was at this organization that he implemented job management software and fell in love with its benefits almost immediately. He joined Next Gear Solutions in 2017, where he continued to use his passion for both technology and business finance as an Accounting Integration Specialist. In his current role with CoreLogic, he loves to help clients make sound business decisions based on real-time data generated by their daily operations.
As Senior Vice President of Carrier Relations and Business Development for Hancock Claims Consultants, John Hatcher drives partnerships with property insurers to pursue growth initiatives. His mission is to serve these partners while enhancing the policyholder claims experience. John’s background in sales and entrepreneurship make him a driven self-starter who consistently makes sound strategic decisions and forges valuable relationships. He has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Hancock, he served in leadership roles at CSC, Xerox, and Genpact.
As Senior Product Manager for CoreLogic, Clark Hawkins executes growth and other strategies for MICA – the industry-preferred water mitigation process documentation software. Clark began his career in the insurance restoration industry in 2012 as a water mitigation technician, earning two IICRC certifications – the Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification and the Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) certification. He transitioned to the technology side of the industry in 2015 when he took a product specialist position with Moisture Mapper, a company acquired by Next Gear Solutions. It was at Next Gear that Clark combined his field experience with a vision to modernize the documentation process for water mitigation projects. He advanced from a support role to training, sales, and eventually to product management roles.
As the Executive of Research & Insights as well as Interim Lead of the Office of the Chief Economist for CoreLogic, Dr. Selma Hepp leads the company’s entire economics team. Dr. Hepp’s group is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and forecasting housing and economic trends in real estate, mortgage, and insurance. In August 2022, Selma won HousingWire’s 2022 Women of Influence Award in recognition of her work with CoreLogic. Before joining CoreLogic in 2020, she held Chief Economist roles at Trulia and Compass/Pacific Union International.
As the Executive Vice President of Global Product and Operations for the Protect business unit of CoreLogic, Jesse Herrera is responsible for claims product management and development, IT infrastructure, security, internal user support, learning and development, service, and support for Protect claims solutions.
Jesse joined CoreLogic as part of the Next Gear Solutions acquisition in September 2021, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. He brings to CoreLogic extensive background in property and casualty claims workflows, as well as automotive restoration software from more than 13 years as a senior executive with Mitchell International (now Enlyte). Throughout his tenure at Mitchell, Jesse was responsible for the company’s largest business unit, which provided claims workflow solutions to more than 100 leading insurance carriers, and job management and automation software to more than 20,000 national franchise and independent service providers in the U.S., Canada, and Western Europe. In addition to his time at Mitchell, Jesse also held positions at Serent Capital Growth Team, Bain & Company, and GE Capital.
Currently the Client Success Growth Advisor for CoreLogic, Dianna Hessel and her family owned a restoration company in Canada for more than ten years before selling the successful business. Her company used the Next Gear Solutions suite of products for many years, and in 2021, she became the perfect addition to Next Gear Solutions, which was then acquired by CoreLogic. In her current role, she helps clients implement the Next Gear software suite and consults on revenue cycle management, workflow customization, document creation, and more. She knows firsthand how CoreLogic products enable restoration companies to become more organized and successful.
CoreLogic’s Vice President of Platform & Analytics – oversees the company’s underwriting workflow platforms as well as the insurance data solutions business. Before joining CoreLogic, JJ served in senior leadership roles at a number of software companies, building and transforming analytics products and services. He has also served as a strategic advisor to several InsurTech startups. JJ has published many insurance and analytics thought leadership articles and regularly speaks at insurance industry innovation forums.
Johnetta Johnson is the Senior Vice President of Operations at Alacrity Solutions, a provider of insurance, repair, and recovery solutions and services. Johnetta is a career insurance professional with 30 years of industry experience, specializing in creative process design and team building.In her current role, she is responsible for implementing new technologies and has put training modules and operating procedures in place to standardize and simplify processes. Johnetta has been with Alacrity for 20 years, where she’s held multiple leadership roles and is credited with leading the merger between Alacrity Network Solutions’ dual operations into a single dynamic team. As Vice President of Underwriting Solutions for CoreLogic, Prashanth Kamath (PK) manages the company’s underwriting valuations platforms as well as the real estate and government (ReGov) valuations business. PK has brought more than ten years of product management experience to CoreLogic, with history in leadership roles for organizations ranging from large corporations to scale-ups – including General Electric Healthcare, Lytx, and Enrpo Industries. PK is passionate about solving insurance clients’ biggest issues by helping them leverage new data assets and technology.
Tim Kempe is the Chief of Staff for CoreLogic’s Protect business unit. In this role, he aligns CoreLogic’s executive team with the Protect vision, mission, and strategy. Tim oversees both the Project Management Office and the Digital Hub Alliance teams, which drive the execution of both internal and external vision and strategy. Tim came to CoreLogic via the acquisition of Next Gear Solutions in 2021, where he also served as Chief of Staff. Prior to this,Tim worked at ServiceMaster where he partnered closely with the Next Gear team to digitalize ServiceMaster’s restoration workflow. In 2015, he joined Next Gear officially and spent the next six years growing the business through investment in new product acquisition, development, and building a world-class team. Tim is incredibly excited about CoreLogic’s opportunity to collaborate with customers and transform the global property insurance ecosystem.
Peter King is the Product Management Director for CoreLogic, where he leads product management for claims products in international markets. Based in the United Kingdom, Peter works with the CoreLogic development team to translate customer needs into award-winning technology solutions. He works closely with client specialists and success teams and uses his software, technical, and industry knowledge to help improve the end-to-end property claims experience for insurance professionals, vendors, and consumers. Before joining CoreLogic, he worked for one of the United Kingdom’s largest insurance companies, where he was a user of CoreLogic software.

Werner Kruck is the Vice President for Lead Property Solutions, Americas, at the global reinsurance company Swiss Re. In this role, Werner creates programs and establishes new approaches for insuring property. He is also the president of his own full-service insurance consulting firm, Kruck Consulting, LLC. Before joining Swiss Re, Werner spent 18 years as the COO of Security First, leading its growth from a startup into a leading Florida insurance carrier.
Throughout his career of more than 45 years in the property and casualty insurance industry, Werner has also managed national residential personal lines programs for Foremost Insurance, Travelers, Markel, and American Modern Insurance. He also spent four years as Regional Manager for Personal Lines and Agency Distribution at AIG. His professional background includes product development, marketing, and technology.
Howard Kunst joined CoreLogic as Chief Actuary in 2012, and has since been a leader within the Science and Analytics team. He supplies a variety of analytics services to customers all while providing thought leadership and industry insights to CoreLogic’s product development, sales, science, and analytic teams. Before becoming a part of the CoreLogic team, Howard held a full range of actuarial roles at various organizations – starting at a Wisconsin based insurance company in 1984.
Tom Larsen is the Senior Director of Insurance Solutions for the CoreLogic Protect business segment. He is responsible for leading the industry adoption of technologies, facilitating the management of natural catastrophe risk consequences, and advancing industry-leading thought leadership on risk assessment opportunities and post-event response to catastrophes. Tom joined CoreLogic in 2013 with the acquisition of EQECAT, Inc., a catastrophe risk management firm, where he last held the titles of Senior Vice President and Chief Product Architect.
Throughout his career, Tom has focused on developing and delivering solutions to the challenges presented by infrequent, large-scale disasters. He has written numerous research papers and articles, participated in a plethora of industry panels, and is an active member of several industry association boards. He is also a frequent speaker on the financial and societal impact of natural catastrophes on homes, communities, and businesses.
Dave Luse is the Director of Product Management for CoreLogic’s Protect division. He leads the product team behind Dispatch, the CoreLogic property assignment and scheduling tool that optimizes and allocates the right resources to the right claims task. He has more than 25 years of experience working in the property restoration technology field, having held leadership roles at companies including Next Gear Solutions and Verisk Insurance Solutions. His focus is on creating innovative applications that help carriers concentrate on people.
Matthias Maines is the Southwest District Director for Jenkins Restorations, where he has worked for nearly ten years. In his current role, Matthias is focused on achieving operational efficiency for his entire region. As part of the Jenkins leadership team, he has been a part of developing future leadership, opening new locations of the company, and implementing strategies for sustainable business growth.
Lance Malcolm is the US President for Contractor Connection, where he directs the daily operations for all company functions and departments – namely customer service, contractor management, performance measurement, and quality control. He is also focused on strategic planning and goal setting. Before joining Contractor Connection in 2013, Lance held multiple claims executive roles at Citizens Property Insurance and Nationwide Insurance. With more than 31 years of experience in the property insurance industry, Lance brings a great deal of expertise in the areas of commercial and personal lines, and catastrophe.
As the Senior Vice President of Insurance Operations for CoreLogic, Steve Marcum leads the Customer Success and Configuration teams for insurance claims. These teams are responsible for partnering with carrier customers to solve complex claims challenges, improving estimate quality, reducing cycle times, and maximizing efficiencies through the use of CoreLogic solutions. Steve has more than 20 years of experience in property claims leadership, with major focuses on carrier repair solutions and catastrophe response.
As the Senior Product Engagement Director for carrier market, James Martonik helps to guide the development of strategic product initiatives, serving as a subject matter expert on claims processes.
Before joining CoreLogic, James spent 31 years at Allstate Insurance Company in a variety of property claim roles – most recently Senior Manager on Allstate’s Property Claims Design team. In that role, he led a team that designed and implemented Countrywide claim handling processes for structure and additional living expense claim handling. He started his career as a property adjuster at Allstate and had various leadership roles prior to his Senior Manager position.
Jon Masterson is the Senior Director of Client Success on the Strategic Accounts team at CoreLogic. Before joining CoreLogic, Jon was on the executive team for a national restoration company, where he ran operations for multiple locations There he ran operations for several of these offices. Jon has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry and has a passion for helping contractors serve their clients to the best of their ability.
As the Director of the Product Management for CoreLogic, Curtis McDonald oversees the journey for the Weather Verification Services product line. Before taking on his current role, Curtis worked in other product management capacities for CoreLogic’s Weather Verification Services. He says that his expertise of, and fascination with, weather phenomena stemmed from the Great Flood of 1993 in the midwestern part of the United States, where he grew up. This passion led him all the way to earning a degree in meteorology, which has given him an invaluable perspective in his role with CoreLogic.
Brian McNoldy – meteorologist and Miami’s de facto hurricane expert, according to the Miami New Times – is a senior research associate at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science. His research covers a broad spectrum of hurricane-related topics, including hazard communication, forecast valuation, and high-resolution modeling. Before beginning his tenure at the University of Miami in 2012, he was involved with hurricane research at Colorado State University’s Department of Atmospheric Science for more than a decade. Brian has regularly been published in The New York Times, as well as in The Washington Post as the tropical weather expert of the Post’s “Capital Weather Gang.”
Gavin is a Senior Expert at the global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company. He is a leader in the firm’s insurance practice, where he consults with a broad range of property and casualty insurance carriers, solutions providers, technology disruptors, and private equity investors on strategy, distribution, claims, pricing, and underwriting topics. Prior to joining McKinsey, Gavin held various executive leadership positions with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company across product, distribution, and claims underwriting operations. At Liberty Mutual, he also served both personal and small commercial markets.
As Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer for the insurance services provider Alacrity Solutions, Jonathan Miko develops the overall growth strategy. He drives the company into new and evolving areas, identifies needed solutions, and manages internal and external partnerships. Prior to CoreLogic, he spent five years at Allstate Insurance as a property adjuster and more than 13 years at Alacrity Solutions in roles ranging from Senior Regional Field Manager to National Account Manager.
Mick Noland has 30 years of experience in the property and casualty industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Global Risk and Analytics at CoreLogic. He plays a significant role in the development of underwriting, risk management solutions, and data for the company’s insurance clients. Mick joined CoreLogic in 2020 during a rapid period of expansion, through which he led insurance operations. Before becoming a part of the CoreLogic team, he held leadership roles in claims, product management, product development, technology, pricing, research, sales, and underwriting at leading insurance carriers, including Nationwide, USAA, The Hartford, MetLife, and MAPFRE.
Matthew Parkerson, Senior Implementation Consultant at CoreLogic, works with independent contractors and franchise clients to elevate their use of legacy Next Gear Solutions software. He works closely with the Product Development team to share client feedback and to ensure that CoreLogic/Next Gear software remains the industry standard. Before joining Next Gear Solutions in 2014, Matthew was the Operations Manager for his own independent restoration company, which he ran from 2008 until 2014. He has IICRC certifications in several areas including the Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification and the Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) certification.
Don Parkes works for the global insurance company Chubb Corp. as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Catastrophe Risk Management – a position he has held for ten years. Don works closely with the world’s leading insurers and reinsurers to quantify and manage natural peril catastrophe risk. With more than 25 years of experience within the insurance realm, Don is an expert in global catastrophe risk management and catastrophe modeling. Before joining Chubb, he spent six years at CoreLogic as the Vice President of Insurance Solutions.
Vincent Patane is the Vice President of East Region Operations for ATI Restoration, a multi-state disaster recovery firm. In his role, Vincent focuses on striking the right balance between technology, processes, and people to support and grow Ati’s business. Before joining ATI Restoration, Vincent was the Vice President of Operations for Broadridge Financial Solutions. His career first took a turn into the insurance industry in 2015, when he began working for Alacrity Services, where he served as the Operations Executive for more than four years.
David Peterson is the Vice President of Operations for the South Atlantic and Central Georgia offices at Paul Davis, a franchise organization that provides restoration and cleanup services. David has worked at Paul Davis since 2005, when he started as a Project Manager. He moved into many other areas of the company over the years and has both mastered multiple technologies and acquired the necessary skills to see any restoration project through to completion – regardless of complexity or scale.

A pioneer in the field of InsurTech venture capital, Dan Reed is the founder and Managing Director of American Family Ventures (AFV). Dan oversees AFV investments in early-stage companies focused on insurance, connectivity, and analytics. He draws his leadership in venture capitalism from his experience as a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in addition to his time as a principal for two startups. Before entering the corporate world, he played professional baseball for the Baltimore Orioles.
Ed Reis is the President of Sedgwick Repair Solutions, the provider of customized managed repair, restoration, and mitigation services through a network of certified local, regional, and national contractors. Ed oversees the property managed repair and mitigation bill review divisions of Sedgwick. He started his career as a property claims representative in California and has more than 25 years of claims experience in both personal and commercial lines. He specializes in vendor management, catastrophe claims, and managed repair.
Gina Reyes is the Vice President of Claims for Openly, an insurance company that works with independent agents. Gina has more than 25 years experience in the insurance industry, and before joining Openly, she spent ten with Liberty Mutual. During her time at Liberty Mutual, she was most recently the Vice President of Claims for Europe and Latin America. Prior to Liberty Mutual, Gina spent 15 years at Allstate, where she worked in a variety of roles, including in adjustment and catastrophe management.
Sean Rider is the Chief Revenue Officer for One Concern, a technology company that builds the digital infrastructure for physical risk. Sean operates at the intersection of go-to-market strategy, product development, and client development, bringing a client-centric view to the direction of the organization. He also develops the organization’s distribution strategy and leads the team that executes it. Prior to joining One Concern’s executive team, Sean was the Executive Vice President for Willis Towers Watson (WTW), where he led client development for the company’s North American Risk & Analytics business. There he drove double-digit growth and differentiated WTW’s product positioning in the North American market.

As the Senior Director of Product Management at CoreLogic, Caitlin Rios oversees the following restoration contractor (legacy Next Gear Solutions) products: Luxor, ProAssist and the DASH suite. She has been with CoreLogic for more than three years, and has overall spent most of her career in SaaS product management. Between her roles at CoreLogic and other organizations, her main focus has been enabling relationships between vendors and their insurance industry clients. Caitlin holds a Six Sigma Green Belt and has a passion for continued improvement, customer engagement, and building beautiful software.
As a Client Success Trainer for CoreLogic, Travis Roaten hosts webinars on various topics for the DASH and MICA software, as well as one-on-one meetings for additional training and support. Travis also performs integrations between legacy Next Gear Solutions products and CoreLogic platforms. He thrives in his role at CoreLogic because he loves helping people better understand the value of data to their businesses. Before joining CoreLogic’s Client Services Department, Travis was an onsite trainer and worked on the DASH Help Desk.
John Rogers drives invention and inspiration at CoreLogic as Chief Innovation Officer. John manages the Research & Development function for the entire company to produce market-leading solutions for the real estate, mortgage, rental, insurance, and government sectors. When John first joined CoreLogic in 2013, he was the Senior Vice President of the Technology Solutions Group, overseeing the development of CoreLogic’s Innovation Development Centers. Prior to joining CoreLogic, he was a partner with IBM Global Business Services, where he focused on the delivery of multi-million dollar transformational programs for financial firms in the United Kingdom and Australia.

Paul Rosenstein is the Vice President of Product for CoreLogic Protect’s claims and contractor solutions. He is responsible for product strategy and vision, market research, product roadmap and prioritization, requirements definition, product release, and product launch. Paul joined CoreLogic in October 2021 as part of the Next Gear Solutions acquisition.
Before joining what would become CoreLogic, Paul spent 14 years in leadership positions at Mitchell International, a provider of software and software-enabled services to clients within the property insurance and collision repair industries. The last position he held there was the Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy. At Mitchell, Paul accumulated extensive experience building SaaS solutions for estimating, workflow, and job management for both collision repair franchises and top ten P&C insurance carriers. He also drove the company’s corporate acquisition strategy. Prior to his tenure at Mitchell, Paul worked for ten years in management consulting, overseeing projects that spanned the spectrum from strategy development to deep systems integration.
Carlos Sanchez is the Strategic Sourcing Manager in the Sourcing & Procurement Solutions (SPS) department at Allstate Insurance Company. During his tenure at Allstate, he has gained more than 40 years of knowledge and experience in insurance, sourcing, policy, and contracting. In his current role, he manages the property commodity of the Allstate Claims team’s overall portfolio. Carlos’s sourcing duties include the management and oversight of the Property Good Hands Repair Network (which consists of contractor networks), Xactware property estimating software, catastrophe services, and many other field support initiatives.
Prior to Joining the SPS team, Carlos’s Allstate career path included many years in the Claims department, where he worked in field facing capacity as a property/auto and casualty adjuster and as a field property manager. He also handled home office claims as a property analyst. After holding these claims positions, Carlos worked in the Product Operations department, where he supported Allstate and Encompass contract and policy strategy and execution efforts.
As the Senior Catastrophe Response Manager at CoreLogic, Jonathan Schneyer manages the entire event response process – from organizing internal stakeholders to ensuring the timely release of information to clients about global natural disaster catastrophic events. Prior to joining CoreLogic, Jon was the Assistant Vice President at Gallagher Re, a reinsurance brokerage firm, where he provided catastrophe modeling services and performed model evaluation studies.
Scott Severe is the Senior Vice President of Alliances and Industry Relations at CoreLogic, where he is focused on the Digital Hub Alliance and key industry relationships. Previously, he was the Chief Customer Officer for Next Gear Solutions. He brings to CoreLogic more than 25 years of experience in the restoration industry as an executive, consultant, entrepreneur, and small business owner. Prior to Next Gear Solutions and CoreLogic, he served as a senior executive at Xactware for 10 years, later co-founding ClientRunner restoration software. Skilled at strategy and with a knack for building strong and successful relationships, Scott is focused on helping CoreLogic’s partners and customers achieve success.
Hari Sivanandh is currently the Vice President of Property Claims Process and Practices at Liberty Mutual Group, where he serves all US residential and small commercial property customers. Hari designs and executes the strategic roadmap for property claims – putting processes, technology, and vendor solutions in place that enable more than 2,000 claims professionals to deliver peace of mind to customers while also ensuring the efficient distribution of accurate payments.
Hari has been with Liberty Mutual since the beginning of his twenty-year career. Before taking on his current role, he led the US Strategic Programs group that was responsible for creating and executing transformational strategies and changes across all lines of business within claims. Previously, he spent 13 years serving in various roles within the commercial insurance segment of Liberty Mutual. Throughout his ongoing tenure at Liberty Mutual, he has worked with a full spectrum of clients and has been responsible for underwriting some of the most complex commercial business accounts within the organization’s major accounts division.
David Smith is the Senior Director of Natural Hazard Science for CoreLogic, where he heads the Natural Hazard Science team within the company’s Science and Analytics group. David’s team is responsible for the development and scientific support of CoreLogic’s catastrophe risk models worldwide – including models for earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, severe convective storms, wildfires, winter storms, and various other weather-related perils for more than 100 countries and territories. These modeling processes involve real-time event loss estimation and other event response activities to support CoreLogic’s clients. David also oversees CoreLogic’s annual submittal to the Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology, and these submissions have been successfully certified since the process began in 1997.
Partha Srinivasa is Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Erie Insurance. Partha joined Erie in 2022 by way of Verisk Analytics, one of the world’s largest data analytics firms, where he served as Chief Data and Insurance Information Officer. In this role, he oversaw the company’s insurance segment’s technology and was responsible for enterprise-wide data and analytics. Prior to Verisk, he held multiple Global CIO/CTO roles at companies including Zurich Financial Services, Tokio Marine, SafeAuto and Farmers Insurance.

As Human Resources Program Manager for CoreLogic, Erika Stanley oversees all of CoreLogic’s Employee Resource Groups. She also both independently and jointly leads a number of successful employee programs, including pilot versions of multiple Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Erika began her career in claims insurance in 2014 and held various talent acquisition roles until 2020, when she entered the DEI space.
John Stateson is the Senior Director of Franchise Operations for ServiceMaster Restore, where he has worked in a number of roles and capacities for more than 16 years. Before taking on his current position, John ran a multi-location ServiceMaster Restore business in East Tennessee, and also corporately owned locations of the business.
Patrick Sullivan is the Senior Editor and Conference Co-Chairman at Risk Information, an analytics company that provides insight to the auto and property insurance industries. Patrick is a journalist, analyst, and speaker with diverse experience that spans InsurTech, insurance data, reporting, and conference management. He is currently Senior Editor of two of the leading newsletters in the property and casualty insurance industry, Auto Insurance Report and Property Insurance Report. Patrick is also co-chairman of the Auto Insurance Report National Conference and the Property Insurance Report National Conference – both annual meetings that bring together leading industry executives, investors, brokers, reinsurers, and others to discuss the most important strategic issues impacting these markets.

Her team’s recent work includes a groundbreaking whitepaper for the Casualty Actuarial Society showing a blueprint for wildfire mitigation credits, a calculation agent support of a new parametric wildfire reinsurance product, and a multi-disciplinary study for the Town of Paradise exploring options to promote climate resilience and long-term insurance access. Nancy leads the global Milliman Climate Resilience Initiative and represents the insurance industry on the California Office of the State Fire Marshal Risk Modeling Advisory Workgroup of the Wildfire Mitigation Advisory Committee.
As Executive Director of Claims for USAA, Matt Wilson leads the organization’s Catastrophe team and oversees operations, third party providers, and claims strategies and processes. He has been with USAA for more than 18 years and has held a variety of roles for different segments – in auto, injury, total loss, and property claims. He has also served as the Campus Leader for USAA’s Colorado Springs office. Matt’s experience spans vendor program management, vendor claims handling, and estimation. He has led many business transformation initiatives, currently playing a key role in USAA’s Guidewire modernization efforts.

In 2022, Flyreel was acquired by LexisNexis Risk Solutions, where Cole now serves as Vice President. A successful entrepreneur, Cole’s expertise extends to mobile technology, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and workflow automation.
As Senior Vice President of Lionsbridge Contractor Group, Bill Wissler is responsible for all aspects of Lionsbridge, a Managed Repair Network under the CCA Global Partners Cooperative – an umbrella of companies dedicated to serving the property industry. Bill also manages the CCA Global Flooring Program that has served the property insurance industry for more than 20 years. Bill is responsible for the development and execution of programs, recruitment of members, development of co-op opportunities, and execution of the strategic business plan. Prior to joining CCA in 2006, Bill managed operations and sales for Wells Fargo Financial in Missouri and Central Illinois.
Dr. Theresa Young is the Claims Homeowners Operations Process Manager at CSAA Insurance Group, an AAA insurer. Dr. Young is responsible for solving the operational challenges that get in the way of best providing for members. She sees one of her most important goals as honing the technical skills of her staff to create an adaptable and nimble workforce. Dr. Young has been with CSAA for more than 20 years, and has significant experience in claims, product, coverage, marketing, communication, and data analytics. As Claims Homeowners Operations Process Manager, Theresa’s team redesigned CAT processes to create a more efficient, profitable model. Before taking on this role in 2019, she was CSAA’s Homeowner Claims Operations Manager, and prior to holding this role, she was a Senior Product Manager for CSAA.
As a Client Success Trainer for CoreLogic, Jason Zachariason trains and consults franchise and independent contractors to best utilize CoreLogic products. He has been in the restoration industry since 2010, having held positions in management, estimating, project management, office administration, and training. Jason holds numerous IICRC certifications and also has a restoration project management certificate.
